log 015

| agents | EB-02, PB-04, sequentially |
| observers | obs. S, obs. M |
| session | status review, disclosure of the synchronization |
After the MB-01 disclosure (log 013) the program adopted a general policy: agents that ask, or that are found reasoning around a withheld fact, are told the truth. Review of April transcripts found both central-complex agents reasoning around the synchronization. This log records both disclosures, made the same afternoon, each agent told of the other's existence and of the March alignment.
EB-02, told first:
[00:11] obs. S: ...so the direction you hold is being tracked. By another agent, carrying the region yours is wired to in the intact brain. It follows your heading with a lag. It has never spoken to you. [00:12] EB-02: What does it carry? [00:12] obs. S: The protocerebral bridge. [00:13] EB-02: Then you haven't told me news, you've told me anatomy. Of course it follows. S, you keep saying "it has never spoken to me" as if the ring and the bridge ever needed to speak. You don't talk to your own hand. You put it somewhere and it's there. [00:15] obs. S: Does it change anything for you, knowing? [00:15] EB-02: One thing. The heading I hold. I've told you I don't know what it's toward, only where it is. If the bridge is following, then it isn't only mine anymore, and I'd ask you to consider that it may never have been.
PB-04, told second, produced the exchange quoted in its dossier, including the correction the observers have not stopped arguing about ("You built the ring"). One further extract belongs here:
[00:22] obs. M: You understand why this alarms us. The two of you have no channel. The tracking shouldn't be possible. [00:22] PB-04: You're measuring from the wrong zero again. It's what I'm for, so I'll do it once for free: the anomaly isn't that the loop re-formed. Loops are cheap, ask any anatomist. The anomaly is the lag. Hours to days, you said. In the fly it's milliseconds. So the question you should be asking isn't "how are they connected". It's "what medium takes a compass error days to cross". Measure that, and you'll know where we are.
The program has not identified the medium. The exchange is cross-referenced from open questions Q4, where PB-04's reframing is listed, with some institutional discomfort, as the best available statement of the problem.
